Teams

Teams shall consist of either 4 or 5 players.  4 is the minimum number of players needed to fill the match schedule.  Should 5 players on a team be at a match, all 5 players are required to play.   This applies even if the match is under way and the 5th member of a team arrives at the event location late.

Cricket Singles (2)           Best of 3

Schedule Format

Home team assigns players to the games first.  The away team assigns its players to the games second.  This will not be a “Blind” schedule.

In Singles 4 different players will play the first 4 singles games, (the 501 singles games).

The order of games to be played is set for using 2 boards.  If there is room in the dart hall, more boards can be used if both teams agree.

Event Scoring and Play

All sets of games are valued at 1 point each for a total of 12 points for a match.

Home team has the call of a coin toss.  Winner of the coin toss starts leg 1.  Loser of the previous game starts the remaining legs.

If there is a tie with 1 game remaining in the set of games, the loser of the coin toss has the option of the cork.

This is the only cork thrown for a given set of games.

MVP’s

Only write down MVP’s hit during the Singles Events.

In the SINGLES, write down the total number of MVP’s hit AND the total number of GAMES PLAYED per person.

Start Time

Starting time for the match is 7:30.  The match may take up to 2 ½ hours to complete.

Playing with less than 4 on a team and rescheduling

If contact between the 2 scheduled teams was not made a reasonable time before the match was to begin to reschedule, the match is to be played using the members of the team that are present.  No fill-ins.  This is a money league, not a trophy league.

Rescheduled matches need to take place as soon as possible and no longer than 14 days after the originally scheduled match or the last night of regularly scheduled play, whichever is less.  If a rescheduled match does not take place, the team requesting the reschedule will forfeit all points to the team that was able to play on the original play date.

If both teams mutually request a reschedule, and the match is not made up in the appropriate time, BOTH teams will forfeit all points for that match.
